Salt Lake City-based Mount Olympus Games have announced their non-violent co-op only puzzle game, Together.
The game has players controlling Amna and Saif, a mother and son who must traverse a mysterious forest to find a cure for their loved one who has become deathly ill. Together has you completing challenges and solving puzzles to progress deeper into the forest. The game hopes to be a unique experience, relying on interaction, communication and empathy to engage players rather than violence and other typical game mechanics. For you voters out there, the team has also made their game available via Steam Greenlight. A release date has not yet been announced.
Lead developer Lyle Cox states:
“Together exemplifies the benefits that gaming can have on a relationship. It goes beyond having a conversation or doing something together. Interdependence is a key quality in a rewarding and successful relationship and Together allows you to experience and practice it in a tangible way.”
